Rachel Zoe Windows for Tiffany & Co

Rachel Zoe and Richard Moore
She styles the likes of Anne Hathaway, Kate Hudson, and Cameron Diaz, and now Rachel Zoe lends her magic touch to the windows of Tiffany & Co stores, in honour of the 2012 Academy Awards. These have been unveiled at Tiffany & Co flagship stores in New York City, Beverly Hills, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, and London.
Award shows are synonymous with red carpet glamour, and aptly so, Zoe’s concept for the windows expresses her interpretation of Hollywood glamour from the 1930s through to the 1970s.
Of the collaboration, Richard Moore, Tiffany & Co’s vice president of visual merchandising, says, “Rachel Zoe has brought a new level of fashion and style to the red carpet, and she has brought her creative vision to our collaboration. She joins a select group of designers and artists including Andy Warhol, who have created displays for Tiffany’s windows.”
Each window boasts a characteristic look, from the Art Deco-infused 1930s to the graphic patterns of the 1970s. Of particular note is the Jean Schlumberger Fleur de Mer brooch perched in the 1960s-themed window, on view for the first time since it was acquired from the estate of Elizabeth Taylor.
This piece sits in the window of Tiffany & Co at Fifth Avenue, so those of us here in Singapore unfortunately will not get to see it up-close. However, we can certainly admire the other dazzling displays, on view at the Takashimaya Shopping Centre store from now until the end of February.
