A new designer collaboration hits H&M stores on March 8
High-low designer collaborations have settled nicely into today's fashion lexicon, and one of the latest that's got everyone holding their breath for is Marni's upcoming collection for Swedish fast fashion label, H&M, which hits stores March 8, 2012.
A sneak peek at the collection sees plenty of Marni's signature eclecticism, with elements of colour-blocking, prints and unexpected shapes to make up a modular wardrobe for both women and men.
Marni creative director and founder, Consuelo Castiglioni, has created a line that combines a sporty allure with sophistication, with loose dresses, jackets, tops, and accessories that can be mixed and matched to create numerous looks perfect for spring. There's even a commercial directed by Sofia Coppola, one awash in a veil of a soft, romantic '70s glow, which you can watch here.
