Introducing Marianne Dulong – a Danish Impetus to Jewellery Design

Danish designs are world famous with their seemingly simple yet elegant outlook, especially in terms of furniture and architecture. Yet, the sophisticated and innovative designs from Denmark are now also blooming in the jewellery industry. For those who haven’t heard of her, the Danish Marianne Dulong is the brand that all fashionistas and jewellery lovers are currently talking about.

Created by stylist and jewellery designer Anja Camilla Alajdi and goldsmith and jewellery designer Marianne Dulong in 2007, Marianne Dulong is a brand that brings a fresh impetus to jewellery design.  

Marianne Dulong’s jewellery is based on three principle styles – classic, edgy and glamourous. Through the use of classic and luxurious materials, such as gold, silver, diamonds and pearls, its hand-made creations project a unique aesthetics through its playful manipulation of original shapes and movements.

In the above video, we can see how the goldsmiths at the Marianne Dulong studio creates the beautiful jewellery collections. Through the use of various materials, colours and precious stones, life and personality are given to the jewellery pieces to enhance the individual character of the wearer.

Now, jewellery connoisseurs will have a chance to drool over the masterpieces from Marianne Dulong firsthand at a special cocktail reception on January 17 at the World Boutique 2012 which will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
