Stepping into its 10th year’s in China, Shanghai Tatler proudly hosted an intimate celebratory cocktail to celebrate this momentus milestone with its circle of friends and socialites who have supported the magazine throughout the years – witnessing Shanghai Tatler’s rise in the Chinese market in becoming the leading Chinese luxury publication.

150 of the city’s most prominent names entered the cockail to find a well executed 10th anniversary theme throughout the venue.  Pictures of the socialites that have ran in Shanghai Tatler in the past were exhibited in the “Hall of Fame” photo-lane, that Shanghai Tatler thoughtfully pulled together.

The celebration kicked off with a speech given by CEO Barrie Goodridge and was followed by a speech from managing director Margaret Chua-Piano, together they thanked all the VIPs and staff of Shanghai Tatler for their unfailing support. To highlight the evening, Shanghai Tatler invited property tycoon Charles Tong, China-based investors Jerry Wu and Stanley Chan, I.T. leader T.J. Ren, graceful socialites Lisa Xia and Catherine Hii, and renowned artist Simon Ma to officiate the cake cutting and toasting ceremony to mark Shanghai Tatler’s 10th birthday. This was followed by a dramatic electronic violin performance.

Also attending the event were important social figures in Shanghai including property tycoon Tu Haiming, partners of Shanghai's leading law firm John Wu & Theresa Qiu, Li Yiqiang & Chloe Liu, charity giant Jenny Jiang, as well as leading manufacturing giant Edward & Stepheni Smith, just to name a few. All guests were treated to an extraordinary feast of canapes and fusion delicacies, champagne, wine and cigars. Guests not only took home big smiles but they also got to take with them a lively drawn caricature mounted on a red “T” frame; a body tattoo of their own creation; as well as colourful lollipops.
