Charity Initiatives for Christmas in Hong Kong

When speaking of Christmas, most people are reminded of Christmas traditions such as the delicious Christmas dinner, gorgeous festive decorations, Christmas trees and of course, the gifts wrapped under the tree. However, Christmas is also a time to give back to the community and share the Christmas cheer. We list out some of our favourite Hong Kong charity initiatives taking place this month.

Wrapped with Love Campaign,
Lane Crawford
In collaboration with Club Monaco, Lane Crawford has launched the Wrapped with Love campaign. This programme calls on the community to help those in need by knitting squares to create blankets that will be donated to Crossroads Foundation and be distributed to families in need. Lane Crawford pledges to donate a minimum of 3000 blankets this winter season.
From now until December 25, Lane Crawford will be collecting 8”x 8” knitted squares from the community. Knitting kits housed in reusable bags are available at all Lane Crawford stores, the kit contains yarn and a pair of bamboo knitting needles. Also, Lane Crawford will donate HK$50 for every limited edition gift card sold and Club Monaco will donate a portion of the proceeds for every piece sold from their exclusive cashmere kit.
