Denise Lo has worn many hats in her career; initially a litigation lawyer, she moved into fashion by becoming the head of personal shopping at Seibu. She then became the general manager of watches and jewellery at Chanel before finally settling into her current dream job of regional managing director of Richard Mille and Boucheron for Asia-Pacific.
Here, Lo talks us through her favourite pieces:
"I bought this yellow gold charm bracelet when I was working at Chanel.
I've always liked charms and the deer is my favourite animal. I also
like reindeers and owls."
"This ruby and diamond necklace was my wedding present from my dad. It's
Burmese rubies and actually comes in a set with earrings and a ring."
"I bought this owl ring from Boucheron three or four years ago from
Paris. I just love owls, I have statues and figurines of them at home."
"I had this diamond ring made and set at Emperor. I was very specific
about getting the unpolished gold because I liked the fake antique
effect it has."
"I got this Alain Philippe Cascade watch at Basel when I was working for
King Fook. Alain Philippe was a brand that I was working with at the
time and they own a diamond mine. They sell mostly women's watches with
beautiful diamonds, the brand was like my little baby."
"
I only wear these stud earrings about twice a year as my ears are
incredibly infection-prone. I like these because the emerald cut is not
as brilliant, not as shiny and bling-bling."
"I love bangles and I like how this Chopard Pushkin one is really wide.
It's also a watch so that's quite convenient."
"I actually wore this sapphire necklace and earring set at my wedding. I
wear them quite often even now, the necklace is detachable and can be
turned into a bracelet."
